We have state-of-the-art machines for bending all types of metal tubes, from round, ovoid and square to rectangular cross-sections. These machines bend metal tubes to specific angles without crushing or deforming them. This makes it possible to manufacture curved or angular parts while maintaining the integrity of the tube.
The principle is simple: the metal tube is placed in the machine and held in place by mandrels or supports so that it is securely fixed during the operation.
A roller corresponding to the desired curvature is selected. This roller determines the bending radius of the tube. It is mounted on the machine to guide the tube into the correct shape.
The machine then applies force to the tube using several possible methods:
Rotary bending = A rotating roller drives the tube around the mold, progressively bending the tube around it. This is the most common method for regular bends.
Compression bending = The machine pushes part of the tube against a fixed mold using a lever arm, bending it to a defined angle.
Wrap-around bending = The tube is wrapped around a mold using a system of rollers and bending arms.
Tube support and control: Mandrels or internal supports can be used to prevent the tube collapsing during bending, maintaining its diameter and shape. This is particularly important for small-diameter or thin-walled tubes. Our bending machines are controlled by CNC (computer numerical control) systems, enabling complex bends to be programmed with increased precision.
