A 100% natural polyamide
We exclusively offer ribbons, cords, elastics made of Rilsan® PA11. Derived from castor oil, Rilsan® polyamides 11 are high performance polymers of 100% renewable origin. Developed by Arkema almost 70 years ago, Rilsan® PA11 is recognized for its excellent performance in the most demanding applications. Since their inception, these biosourced resins have been synonymous with performance and durability.
High performance fiber
This biosourced material combines the properties of polyamide (extreme softness, elasticity, abrasion resistance) with the advantage of eco-responsible production (100% biosourced material, based on castor oil). We note in particular its resistance to UV, its antibacterial properties, its resistance to abrasion and the fact that it absorbs little water and its excellent thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance.
