This webbing is woven in France in our factories from 1st choice polyester yarns, guaranteeing the best resistance to breakage and UV.
Polyester is a synthetic material widely used in the technical textile industry, as it offers numerous advantages. Here's why this material is so popular:
- Mechanical and chemical resistance: Polyester is robust in the face of mechanical and chemical stress. It resists traction, friction and heat. See our dedicated polyester page for more information.
- Durability: Polyester webbing retains its shape and color even after repeated washing, and even when subjected to sustained abrasion. It is less susceptible to tearing and wear than webbing made from other synthetic materials.
- UV resistance: Polyester is extremely resistant to ultraviolet rays. Its technical properties are not degraded by UV rays, so it's only natural that manufacturers turn to this fiber when it comes to outdoor use
Fast drying: Polyester webbing dries quickly, making it particularly practical for sporting activities, or in outdoor environments where it will regularly get wet

As our polyester straps are extremely versatile, we supply them for many other uses:
- In boating, they are used for mooring and securing, but also for lifting boats (known as lifting straps) or as harnesses + lifelines on decks (we can supply ready-made straps if required).
- In PPE, our customers use them to make safety harnesses (polyester webbing is integrated into safety harnesses for workers at height) or in life-saving equipment: polyester webbing is used in life jackets and flotation devices.
- In transport, polyester straps are ideal for securing loads on trucks, trailers and containers. They offer high strength and are easy to adjust.
