A bungee cord for ski slopes is a safety device used to delimit or mark out areas on the slopes. It's not a trivial choice, therefore, and it's important to ensure that it won't fail in use. It is used to create visible separations to guide skiers and prevent them from entering dangerous or unauthorized areas, such as cliffs, avalanche-prone zones or closed pistes.

The bungee cord we offer is made up of a bundle of dozens of elastic filaments (better resistance over time, because if the bungee cord is subjected to shearing, only a few filaments are cut, unlike low-end bungee cords with single-strand cores which snap off at the first stroke of the blade). We recommend a monofilament polyethylene sheath for better resistance to weathering and wear, but once again, it's up to you to decide, and we'll produce any item in the material of your choice.

This bungee cord is usually attached to posts or stakes and stretched to form a flexible but effective barrier. The use of an elastic product makes the installation and calibration of barriers much easier. As a result, marking is extremely simple. Of course, this product is also designed to be extremely hard-wearing to withstand harsh mountain conditions, such as high winds, snow and accidental collisions with skiers.
