Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) or Teflon® is a fluopolymer with spectacular properties. This material found on the coating of saucepans (the famous Tefal) and in plumbing sealing tape has an extremely low coefficient of friction: it is a self-lubricating fiber on which nothing catches, everything slides.

It is used in technical applications requiring special resistance to chemical products: PTFE is physiologically neutral, i.e. chemically inert: excellent resistance to acids, bases, alcohols, hydrocarbons... only products with a high concentration of fluorine can come to terms with it. PTFE also has the advantage of being insensitive to UV and incombustible. It is also a material whose dielectric properties make it an excellent electrical insulator. We work with this material, which is particularly suitable for the most hostile industrial environments according to your specifications, in a flat or round braid version or even a woven ribbon.
