Features
Our Elasto Silicone braided sleeving is a stretchable sleeve manufactured in our own plants. This product is designed to provide high-performance thermal and electrical insulation while remaining flexible and adaptable. Its construction is based on a hollow fiberglass braid coated with silicone rubber, making it capable of adapting easily to irregular shapes without the need for heating, unlike heat-shrink tubing which also cracks over time.
The main characteristics of this product are detailed below:
Thermal resistance: Operates in a temperature range from -60°C to +250°C continuously, with peaks up to +290°C depending on the model.
Electrical insulation: A range of articles offering high dielectric strengths, up to 7 kV.
Flexibility: The stretchable braid can be used on complex shapes, guaranteeing simple, effective application.
Durability: Good resistance to UV, ozone, grease and non-aromatic hydrocarbons (alcohols, ethers, etc.).
Versatile applications for industry
This stretch tubing can be found in many sectors, thanks to its versatility and technical performance. Here are just a few examples of applications:
- Protection of electrical wiring: Used to insulate electrical connections in industrial equipment such as motors, transformers or generators, our fiberglass sheath with elasto-silicone coating guarantees optimum safety.
- Automotive industry: As a component of wiring systems or to protect sensitive welds, it's the perfect answer to the need for reliability and strength in modern vehicles.
- Electronic equipment and household appliances: In printed circuits or complex electrical systems, this sheath provides effective insulation and reduces short-circuit risks.
- And many more specific fields: Ideal for industries with demanding standards, such as aeronautics, defense or robotics.
