Features

A development that we offer exclusively at STN Braiding. Guaranteed French manufacture in our factories.
Full control of the production chain, from braiding to manufacturing if required. Finely braided bungees to the most exacting standards in 8, 12, 16, 24 or 32 spindles, depending on the diameter required.

On request, we can carry out a certified FAR 25853 (aeronautical) or UL 1441 - Horizontal Flame lab test (generally required for insulating jackets) to guarantee the flame resistance of our products.

For the building and exterior design sector, the M0 or M1 standard is required. However, testing to this standard is not feasible on narrow items such as our bungee cords, since the standard requires a material surface area of 1m2 to be tested.
That's why we generally issue a fire-resistance certificate in accordance with the FAR 25853 aeronautical standard, which is much more stringent. This test is carried out by an external laboratory to guarantee total clarity: safety is no joke at STN Tressage.
If you require a product complying with another standard (UL 94 HB, FMVSS 302, NF EN 2310, or other), please do not hesitate to contact us. We are at your disposal for any specific request.
