A renewable material that comes from the trees!
Natural latex is a natural product made from the sap of tropical rubber (Hevea brasiliensis, which grows mainly in Southeast Asia and South America). The extraction method is relatively simple: in plantations dedicated to this material, the bark of the trees is incised to harvest the rubber milk.
An environmentally-friendly material
Natural latex is therefore a renewable raw material. It is produced neutrally and ecologically, as it is harvested by hand. The processing of this rubber milk requires no solvents, CFCs or plasticizers, and consumes 90% less energy than synthetic latex.
Quality control and monitoring
Because latex is a natural material, its quality can fluctuate from one season to the next, so we take particular care in selecting the best batches of latex to guarantee unrivalled production consistency.
